FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get my product faster if I order directly from Muk Luks® website? And/or will my product ship faster? We have agreements in place with our retail partners and give them priority. All product ordered from our Muk Luks® website normally ships within 4-7 business days; during the Holiday season it may take longer.

Why is product more expensive on the Muk Luks® website than on a retailer’s website or in store? We have a strong and long standing relationship with our retail partners. We value this relationship and because of that we support sales going to their websites; still giving you the option to purchase directly from Muk Luks® if you prefer.

Where is your product produced? Our product is produced in China. Our headquarters are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Do you offer a repair service? We do not offer a repair service.

A Muk Luks® button fell off, what do I do? Contact us! We might have what you're looking for.

How do I care for my item? If the product doesn't have a woven care label, we recommend searching for the product on our website. The fiber content and laundry instructions can be found in the product description. Or contact our dedicated customer service team.

Can my slippers be worn outdoors? Muk Luks® slippers are not designed for primary outdoor use. Our durable slipper outsoles are great for rougher indoor floors, or a quick stroll to the mailbox, or a quick midnight snack drive-thru. We appreciate that you might want to wear your slippers to the grocery store, however, we do not recommend it.

Can my boots be worn in snow and rain? While many of our boots and shoe styles are treated to be water resistant, this does not mean they should be worn in direct snow, rain or standing water. Knit/sweater boots especially should not be worn in snow and rain as this may stretch the knit, impact the fit, or ruin the sole.

How do I return a product? Please refer to our return policy page.

Are coupon codes good on sale and clearance? Yes, unless specifically noted otherwise.

What is EVA? EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is an elastomeric polymer that produces materials which are rubber-like in softness and flexibility. The material has good clarity and gloss, low- temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive waterproof properties, and resistance to UV radiation. New EVA can have a distinctive vinegar-like odor. If you find it overwhelming, we recommend airing the item out on a patio or near an open window.

What is TPR? TPR (thermo plastic rubber) belongs to a group of copolymers called thermo-plastic elastomers. Advantages of TPR include their ability to be recycled because of their ease of being molded and extruded.

What is PVC? PVC (plastic polyvinyl chloride) is found in the soles and uppers of modern shoes and provides a synthetic alternative to traditional leather. PVC is strong, durable, waterproof and light weight.

Are your products vegan? While the majority of our slippers are vegan, our company does use leather and wool in various products. We recommend reading the fiber content to be certain. If shopping online, this can be found in the product description. If shopping in store, this can be found on the back of the packaging, or on the label inside the slipper or boot. If you are still unsure, please contact us.
